Day 7 of Gratitude —My Peace

Happy Sunday! 🧘🏽‍♀️ I am truly enjoying this journey of unpacking gratitude. For the past 7 days I have been intentional about my thinking around gratitude. I realize that I have much to be grateful for and it has been an eye opening experience to decompose.



Today…on day 7 of gratitude, I am grateful for the peace that I have…finally! In understanding the power of having peace, I realize how much power I’d given to other people for MY PEACE! Baybeh…when I tell you it was an eye opener on a whole different level! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽



I am the one responsible for protecting and ensuring MY PEACE! I mean it is my peace after all!


Some ways that I have learned to protect my peace:

  • mind my business (sounds simple but for some folks this is hard AF!)

  • worry less about what others think of me and my moves

  • think about what makes me happy and do that regularly

  • surround myself with people who embody and value their own peace

  • Do things that I enjoy often

  • call out behaviors and actions that disturb my peace so that they can be clearly addressed

  • set and speak clear expectations for what I need and want from those who contribute to my life

  • Set clear BOUNDARIES

  • THERAPY

  • REST

  • MEDITATE…MEDITATE…MEDITATE…every single day!
